| | Star of Indiana VS. Cadets - Drum Corps International 1993 |
A debate in the drum corps community? Never! Everyone is always pleased, everyone satisfied, no arguments, no disputes, we're all agreeable people. Outside of a tie at any given finals performance a great feud has always existed between two camps - those FOR Cadets in first place and those who say Star of Indiana should have been champions in the summer of 1993. What makes any answer correct?
After many years of blindly arguing a point without any knowledge outside of each corps' audio I have finally watched both shows in their entirety. With both shows viewed from the comfort of my home, with volume at stadium level, I can safely say you're all wrong! No matter your opinion you're wrong, but what does it matter? You should read this, become enraged, and then tell me about it. Read: Star of Indiana vs. Cadets - DCI 1993
